ABOUT ME
Hafsa Syed is a Pakistani-American architectural designer who spent her formative years in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She holds a Master of Architecture from the Architectural Association in London and a Bachelor’s in Architecture from the University of Westminster.
Her professional experience includes working with Pakistani architect Yasmeen Lari on disaster relief and climate-conscious design, as well as developing prefabricated housing solutions in Houston, Texas. She is also a visiting critic for undergraduate architecture students at the University of Westminster.

Her work focuses on the entanglements of ecology, material culture, and vernacular building technologies. Driven by a strong commitment to ecological stewardship, she investigates bio-based materials and zero-carbon design solutions.
